Tropical Fruit Smoothie - Only 3 Ingredients!

I’m not sure about you, but I love a good smoothie. When I used to work in retail, there was a Jamba Juice a few stores down and I would get a smoothie at least every other day. I was so obsessed but I didn’t want to make it at home for a silly reason. The noise. Also, I wasn’t sure if it would turn out as great tasting as the smoothies I would get from Jamba Juice. Mostly, it was the noise that stopped me.

 

 

Now that I’m experimenting with making smoothies at home I don’t mind the noise as much. It’s really fun experimenting with different juices and fruits. So far, this mix is one of my favorites! All I’m missing is my shot of energy, as I would order it from Jamba Juice, and then it’s good to go!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup 100% Pineapple-Orange Juice
  • 1 cup Frozen Fruit
  • 1/2 cup Ice Optional

Instructions

  • Add juice, frozen fruit, and ice into the blender.
    If using fresh fruit, add 1/2 cup of ice.
    When using frozen fruit, I tend to leave the ice out. I find that my smoothies are more thick if I add ice when using frozen fruit.
    I also used a fruit blend of: strawberries, peaches, pineapple, and mango.
  • Blend until frozen fruit, or ice (if using fresh fruit) is well combined.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy!
