The Best Marinara Sauce I've Made
National Spaghetti Day

I have the BEST marinara spaghetti for you! Well, I don’t know if it is the best, but it’s DAMN GOOD!

I’m a pasta lover. Any type of pasta, any type of sauce, you name it. Whether it’s fettuccine alfredo, marinara spaghetti, meat sauce, pesto, ANYTHING. YUM. I do know a few people that aren’t big fans of pasta or think that they all taste the same and all I can say is, to each their own. Pasta is and will probably always be one of my favorite things!

Whenever I am craving some pasta, specifically marinara spaghetti, I usually order out. I try to find a hole in the wall that serves pasta versus a bigger chain. I haven’t found a hole in the wall that I have fallen in love with yet. If I don’t order out, I make it at home. However, I use pre-made sauces. that you get from the grocery stores. Which I mean, it’s SO convenient and makes it so much easier.

So then I thought, why not just make marinara spaghetti at home. It can’t be that hard right?

I started looking online to see what exactly goes into a marinara spaghetti sauce and I found out that it was really simple! There were not any overcomplicated recipes with a million ingredients. In fact, there were only a few ingredients!

Since it looked like no big deal, I decided to give it a try and I loved how it turned out. It has subtle hints of sweetness from sugar and there’s some heat from the red chili flakes. It is SO DAMN GOOD and I’m glad I talked myself into making my own marinara spaghetti at home.

If you decide to try this recipe out, please let me know in the comments down below! I’d love to know what you guys think! Did you love it or hate it? Any tips? I’d love to hear them!

Ciao for now!

Tips On Making Marinara Spaghetti

I honestly like how the red chili flakes bring a little heat to this simple marinara spaghetti. If you don’t want some heat in it, just leave the red chili flakes out and it will be just as delicious!
