Passion Iced Tea with Lemonade

Happy National Iced Tea Day!

Let’s talk about Passion Ice Tea! This drink is super popular at Starbucks. While it’s more convenient to go out at buy it, you can also make this drink at home and it will taste just as good! Let’s get to it!

Today is the celebration of one of Summer’s popular and favorite drinks! There are so many different types of tea and different flavors that the combination is endless. You can make your tea your own way. Whether it’s with lemon or fruits, you can really customize tea to your liking. My favorite is Passion Ice Tea! Obviously.

For me, I’m not a big tea drinker, unless it’s from Starbucks. When I’m there, I usually get a Passion Ice Tea with either lemonade or apple juice. It’s super good but I’m not too crazy about the price, plus sometimes it gets super busy and the wait sometimes gets so long.

I can’t tell what the difference in taste is when I make this passion ice tea at home or get it from Starbucks, but I’m not complaining about it at all!

If you try making passion ice tea at home, let me know what you think in the comments! I’d loved to know whether you left it plain or did a half tea blend.

Ciao for now!

Notes ForMaking

I use a glass liter bottle with a cork lid to keep my passion ice tea fresh in my refrigerator. However, you can use any container that works for you!

Depending on my mood, I may just use water for my tea. You can also use 1/2 tea and 1/2 lemonade or 1/2 tea and 1/2 apple juice. Whatever combination you want! I think next time I will try 1/2 tea and 1/2 passionfruit juice!

Other Recipes

Lassi – If you want a great yogurt-based drink, this salty drink is for you! It’s cool and refreshing and great for the summer!

Dark & Stormy – This is a Dark & Stormy inspired drink called, Before the Storm! I’m not a big alcohol drinker, but this drink was not bad at all!

Cost Analysis

Lastly, take a look at this cost analysis. It shows how much it costs to make this passion ice tea. We don’t realize it, but sometimes it so much cheaper to make things at home versus buying them at the store! Yes, sometimes it takes a while and sometimes it’s more convenient, but how can you deny that price?
