Do you need a quick breakfast? This Masala Omelette takes just a few minutes to prepare and a few more minutes to cook! The great thing about omelettes is that you can add anything you want to them!

Indian Style Masala Omelette is a favorite breakfast dish in India. While this omelette is more on the basic side, I have seen other recipes that also add tomatoes, which you can do too if you desire!

The Indian Style Masala Omelette can also be found on the streets and each street vendor has their own special way and ingredients they use! No Masala Omelette you find will be the same.

For me, I like my Masala Omelette basic. This recipe uses basic ingredients that can be found in any household. If not, you can easily find them in the grocery store! Just plan ahead and make sure that you have all ingredients before you decide to make this delicious breakfast dish!

Notes For Cooking Masala Omelette

This is 100% your omelette. You can add any other ingredients you want to make it your own. Whether it’s cheese, tomatoes, bell peppers, or mushrooms. Make this omelette YOURS.

I use salted butter to cook my masala omelette instead of oil. If you use butter instead of oil, it also adds more flavor and it ends up being better for your pan!

Watch your heat when cooking this. I know sometimes I get impatient when waiting for the egg to cook so I turn up my heat to cook it faster. DON’T do that. I always end up getting distracted and end up with a burnt omelette. Be patient. Don’t be like me. :D
